We were asked to investigate the heavily decayed Bath stonework surrounding the windows on the south elevation of Bournemouth College. Further to inspection the sections of stonework that needed to be replaced or repaired were identified and a schedule for repair was agreed on.
Templates for all the replacement sections were made from the existing stonework and manufactured back in our workshop by our skilled stonemasons. These were then securely fixed into position. Other areas of stonework that showed smaller imperfections but did not require replacing were repaired with a lime based restoration mortar.
